Transparency and Security
Calimero ensures that the entire process—proposal creation, voting, approval, and weight implementation—is both transparent and secure:
Blockchain Integrity: All activities related to proposals and votes are recorded on Calimero’s blockchain, ensuring that the history of the voting process is publicly auditable. This ensures that no one can alter the proposal or voting results without detection.
Proof Generation: Since Calimero uses a zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) system, a cryptographic proof is generated for the entire process. This proof serves as evidence that the correct weights were chosen and implemented, without revealing sensitive information about the underlying data or participants.
Root Key & Client Key Authentication: All actions, from proposal submission to voting, are cryptographically signed using Root Keys and Client Keys, ensuring that the actions are legitimate and authenticated. This prevents any unauthorized interference or tampering.
