Proposal Submission to Context

Once the proposal is created, it is submitted to the Context—the application-specific network in Calimero. This Context serves as the communication layer for users (peers) within a particular application, such as a credit scoring app. The proposal submission includes:

  • Unique Proposal ID: A unique identifier that helps track the proposal throughout its lifecycle.

  • Cryptographic Signatures: To ensure authenticity, the proposal is signed using the Root Key of the submitting peer (typically the app administrator or a trusted stakeholder).

  • Hashing & Validation: The proposal is hashed to generate a unique, immutable fingerprint, preventing tampering during submission.

  • The proposal is stored and distributed to the relevant peers within the specific Context, which is typically defined by the credit scoring app’s network of users.
