# Introduction

**FaiRemix** introduces Proof of Inspiration — a fairness-first protocol for remix culture, enabling creators to provably link their work to upstream influences and receive automatic attribution and royalties onchain. It creates a transparent graph of creative lineage, rewarding inspiration and collaboration while maintaining creator control. Powered by Zora, and remix-friendly standards, FaiRemix makes creative credit fair, programmable, and interoperable.

### What it is:

An onchain attribution layer where creators register original works and declare inspirations, collaborators, and tools. Any future remixed or derivative content can cite, credit, and reward these sources transparently — creating a graph of remix genealogy.

### Key:

If your work (image, code, article, beat) inspires others → You earn attribution-based rewards via the FaiRemix protocol.

Creators can cite upstream inspiration, collaborators, and tools → And choose how remixable their work is (license + royalty rules).

### ZK Role:

Enable private proofs of influence — e.g., remix derived from source without revealing full path.

Preserve creative privacy while still enabling fair attribution logic.

Useful for AI-assisted workflows or sensitive inspiration chains.
